"L is for "Love"" is a really simple chapbook that is the very first one by Teodor Avramović. It's several clear cut poems about the sensation of love and romance. The text is very large, which makes it very easy to read so I really appreciate that, because small text can be the devil. It captures the uncertainty of it, the fear of it almost, how deeply romantic sentiments for someone can make you feel so curious and confused about everything, but not for a bad reason. It's because love as an emotion can really get under your skin and affect almost every though you have. You also become paranoid that something in a good thing will go wrong, and all you want to do is prevent that from happening. These short poems try and convey that I think. I don't know much about their context, or their author, so I can't offer as much insight as I might with other projects, but I'm glad this was an opportunity for the author to do something for the first time, and I wish them well in their future writing and their relationships.
